Your 1993 Dodge Intrepid keeps over heating you have already changed the thermostat thermostat housing upper radiator hose radiator and pressure cap what is left to change?

1995 Aurora Oldsmobile keeps overheating and you have changed the thermostat and water pump?

If your 1995 Oldsmobile Aurora keeps overheating and the issue is not the thermostat or the water pump, it could be the cooling fan. It might also be the radiator (leaking) or the hoses between the engine and radiator, or the shroud could be clogged or damaged.

Picture of where to find the thermostat on 2001 Chevy Malibu?

the thermostat will be under the THERMOSTAT HOUSING, which is where the TOP radiator hose fits on ie(radiator to thermostat housing) this keeps the engine at an OPTIMUM temperature BUT can be A cause of OVERHEATING IF malfunctioning

If the heater on a 1998 Mercury Grand Marquis keeps heating and does not shut down at the temperature you have selected is there a thermostat that you can change?

PossibleThe thermostat is located on the top of the engine - just follow the top radiator hose to the top of the engine. When you remove that hose you'll the thermostat. Do you have the Automatic Climate Control?

Your 1993 Pontiac Sunbird LE 4cyl keeps over heating If you remove the thermostat it stays cool I replaced the thermostat twice what could it bevI have no coolantleak or water in the exhaust?

I was having the same problem with my car. When you take the thermostat out it will automatically read cool. But I later found out that I had a leak in my radiator and had to replace it. Turned out that my heads are warped and was leaking oil into my water and into the radiator itself. Once i replaced the radiator its been fine.

Why does the thermostat keeps turning on and off?

Because that is its job! A thermostat is a device that measures the temperature of a given space or volume, and turns heating / cooling devices on and off accordingly. The thermostat in your house is designed to turn the heating off when the house is warm and turn it on when the house is cold. The thermostat in your car turns the radiator fan on when the oil / water temperature increases to a level that could be damaging to the engine (if you are stuck in traffic for example)

96 Dodge Intrepid keeps over heating?

Did you bleed the air valve? if you open any part of the cooling system on a dodge intrepid, ie: change the radiator hose or thermostat housing. You need to bleed the air out the Valve. If not the car will over heat.

If a 1998 Mercury Cougar heating system does not blow hot air but there is plenty of coolant in radiator what could be the problem?

Plugged heater core maybe. Maybe the thermostat. Coolant keeps your engine cool under duress. If the thermostat is stuck open, the engine is staying too cool. Your heat is run off of your engine temperature.
