You had a miscarriage 3 weeks ago and took a pregnancy test that said positive is that your hormones from the old pregnancy?
yes that's exactly what it is. the pregnancy hormone stays in your body for several weeks after a miscarriage.
Does a positive pregnancy test 2 weeks after a miscarriage mean a new pregnancy or just pregnancy hormones retained from last time?
How long does it take for the pregnancy hormones to leave your body after being 9 weeks pregnant and have a miscarriage?
Yes, you can get positive pregnancy test after miscariage if your hormones have not gone down completely. As your pregnancy progresses, the hormone level go on increasing. Depending upon when you have the miscarriage ..they cud be at high level already. It will take some days or even weeks for the hormones to go back to down to normal (0-5) levels. However you can see changes like your pregnancy symptoms decreasing with time etc.
What if you had a miscarriage within weeks of pregnancy and take a pregnancy test would it show positive?
You took several pregnancy tests that were positive and then later turned negative are you pregnant?
I'm wondering the same thing. I ovulated 2 weeks after my miscarriage. I was still spotting heavily. Beacuse I was only 5 weeks at the time of the miscarriage and everything was fine my dr. said to go ahead and start trying. So we did. I spotted lightly for the next 1.5 weeks. Now, 4 weeks later (from the time I ovulated) I am having pregnancy symptoms and a positive HPT. Could it be positive…
If im pregnant and have severe cramping and bleeding and took a test again and came out positive can that still be a miscarriage?
If you have a miscarriage but are not sure can you take a pregnancy test and it come up positive because the hormones are still in the body?
If you still have a positive pregnancy test a week after a suspected miscarriage what does this mean?
It means that there is still the presence of the pregnancy hormone (hCG). Home pregnancy tests give positive results when they detect the presence of hCG. It can take days to several weeks for a woman's hCG levels to return to baseline after a miscarriage; it all depends on how far along she was. Taking home pregnancy tests in the first few weeks after a miscarriage is not a reliable way to check for pregnancy…
the hormone can stay in your system for up to 8 weeks. this can make a PT show up positive. Speaking from my own experiences. I had two miscarriages. Your hormones should return to normal within a week or 2. My hormones returned to normal within a week. Occasionally the baby dies a while before the miscarriage and the hormones will have almost disappeared by the time you actually miscarry. It all depends on the…
If you had a miscarriage 6 weeks ago at 6 weeks and have yet to have a period are having pregnancy symptoms and took a test that was positive could you be pregnant again?
If you think you are about two weeks pregnant and had a once off heavy bleeding and the pregnancy test showsis positive does that mean you had a miscarriage?
It is possible, but the bleeding could also have been from implantation bleeding. A pregnancy test will show positive for a while after a miscarriage because your body has not rid itself of the HCG (pregnancy hormone) levels yet. The further along you were, the longer a pregnancy test will show positive. I would still be on the lookout for any symptoms of pregnancy, continue taking your prenatal vitamins (or at least folic acid), refrain…
Had miscarriage 5 weeks ago not had normal period but just did pt and it was posotive am i really pregnant or is this normal?
Chances of pregnancy It may depend on the amount of weeks pregnant you were when you miscarried. I miscarried at 14 weeks and 5 weeks later got a positive result on a home pregnancy test, which was actually another pregnancy. I would suggest that unless you lost the baby in the second trimester this positive result is indeed referring to a new pregnancy.
Are you pregnant if you are on Clomid and took a positive pregnancy test on day 32 and another positive test a week later but you experienced a miscarriage 5 months ago?
not sure wut u mean by tru, but if u mean a positive result indicating a second pregnancy than about a month after the miscarriage. one the hcg has dropped from the miscarriage u can ovulate (which may take 3 or 4 weeks, depending how far along u were) and 2 weeks after taht u can test for a new pregnancy.
Are you still pregnant you have bled for a week and doctor said it looked like i was losing the baby but i done a test this morning which came back saying you were still pregnant?
Only your doctor can really answer that question. However, it is not unusual for a home pregnancy test to be incorrect after a miscarriage. Home pregnancy tests look for pregnancy-related hormones in your urine...hormones that may still be present for weeks after a miscarriage. To determine the status of your pregnancy and the health of your child, your doctor should perform an ultrasound.
You can still be tested positive after a miscarriage and a period. A pregnancy test is based on the levels of hormone you have in your body. It might not have gone back to normal. And your bleeding can be caused from the miscarriage itself and doesn't necessarily mean that is a period. Check again in a week or two and then ask your doctor if it still shows up positive just to make sure…
If you had a miscarriage a month and a day ago could a positive pregnancy test still be picking the chemical that detects that you're pregnant or could you really be pregnant?
What does it mean if theres no heart beat on your ultrasound but pregnancy tests say you are still pregnant?
Can you be pregnant of you had a miscarriage on March 11 2007 and bled for a week or so but have been feeling ill lately and a pregnancy test on April 9 was positive?
I can only answer part of your question. I do know that if you miscarry (and I am sorry to hear that) that you still have traces of the hormones in you for up to nine weeks. So a test can still say you are pregnant. I would recommend visiting your doctor. That way they will be able to see if your pregnancy hormones are going up or down.
