You have a 1998 Ford Ranger V6 that blows hot air in all positions except on the max air postion this includes all blower positions even when the dial is turned all the way into the blue just had freo?

There isn't one. There'll be a fuse for the HVAC blower, but the heater itself doesn't use electricity (other than the blower fan). That year Ranger should have cables going to the blend door, so there won't be electricity there.

this resistor is located next to the blower motor in the heater plenum. the coils sit in the air stream. remove the connector and the fasteners and pull the resistor block out.


THE PROBLEM IS NOT THE BLOWER SWITCH.IT IS MORE THAN LIKLEY THE CABLE ON THE AIR BOX HAS CAME OFF.


under the hood, passenger side, on the blower motor housing, towards the bottom, under the motor bump out.. unplug the wire clip from it, it comes out with 2 screws.



The Heater Core will be located behind the dash. Hope that Helps.
