My car was diagnosed with this problem today also. I was told by my good friend (who is also the mechanic) that the leak could be in many places and the best way to find out where is to complete a test in which 'smoke' is pumped through the system to find the area of the leak. It could be due to a hose disconnected, or, a part in the emissions system could need to be replaced. You won't know until it is properly tested. Apparently this is QUITE common in cavaliers. Good luck.
There are pages and pages of things that can cause a check engine light. You need to have it checked with a scantool. Then the code can be diagnosed and repaired.
I personally have a 1993 cavalier RS four door 2.2L automatic. I have put almost ten thousand miles on it in the seven months that ive owned it. I have checked the mileage on several fill-ups, and i have averaged as high as 22 mpg, and as low as 17 mpg.
It is a year and four months old.
I checked on the calender and I think about 6 months.
It depends on the CO2 emissions.
is it engine oil or transmission oil check the engine sump for cracks check oil levels
roughly every 6 months
We have a cavalier that is 15 months old. She has become to best dog someone could ask for. But house breaking her was a little difficult.
It all depends on why the light is on and what the problem is. If the engine is running great and you see no loss of power or MPG then you do not have to rush to get it repaired. But do get it looked into within the next few months.
once in six months
After they get pregnant they carry the pups for about two months.
You should have it checked every 6 months to make sure it is tip top shape and running smoothly. Let me know if you need help with it.
you need to get it checked by a doctor.
The check engine light (service engine soon) comes on and stays on when a problem is detected by the self diagnosis system of your vehicle. Generally, the problem is in the emissions or something that is affecting the effectiveness of the emissions, but other causes can trigger the light to come on, too. To determine the cause, the vehicle will need to be taken to AutoZone or a shop that has an OBD2 scanner, or for 1995 and earlier models, an OBD1 scanner, While a scanner will not give you the magic answer, it will give you a code that narrows down the problem area.
every 7500 miles or 12 months
It can be but to avoid worry and complications you should have it checked out to be sure.
Ethier your most likely Pregnant or you should get that checked out
36 months or 36000 miles, whichever comes first.
Yes, it is important to have the bump on your neck checked by a doctor.
You might wanna get that checked and make sure it's just the flu.
they checked it by checking the position of the planets.
My Cavalier is 3yrs 9 months and sleeps nearly all day!! They are quite happy to sleep all the time but will be happy to go for a walk or have a play as well.
