If you are taking this narcotic drug under the direct care and order of a physician and have an official Prescription for this drug, then there should be no problem for it to show up in an urine test. Tell the screener that you are taking that drug under doctors orders.
Conversely, if this drug is being taken illegally, you might need up to a month for all of it to get out of your system.
Im not a methadone user but i think it will be flush out in the system within 3 months without using it but I think you need to be given a narcan, a narcotic antidote and you should be monitored for any withdrawal symptoms.
Stay as absolutely far away from this relationship as possible. A meth user has one friend. and only one friend. METH. That's it, end of this conversation. <<< This person is thinking of crystal meth (meth is the short form of crystal meth)which is completely different from methadone. Your friend may be on methadone maintenace or may be on it for pain...... I would find out more information on if they are abusing or if they are prescribed before jumping to conclusions. Um, not end of conversation!...Methadone is NOT Meth. Completely different thing. I think it would depend on how heavy a user the person is? Methadone is a very addictive drug so if it's being used on a daily basis your significant other is probably addicted and will need help to detox. Being in a long-distance relationship with the person, unless you KNOW they are willing and desirous to get off the drug, is probably a just cause for heartache. If it is only being used occasionally, say once or twice a week at most, then there probably isn't anything to worry about. um id like to add if he or she is taking methadone for chronic pain then I wouldn't worry anything about the methadone but you should worry about if you can handle taking care of someone that has chronic pain as I have fibromyalgia and its horrible without my methadone I wouldn't be able to even get out of bed I do not get a buzz off of it and never have I have been on it for over 6+ months and have been on tons of other prescription drugs to help with my pain so it all depends on why this person is taking the methadone if its for fun then I wouldn't waste my time with them but of course that's just imho.
50 mg a day twice maybe stupid
I was a vicodin addict , and I took 4-5 three times a day. I was fine on 30 mg of methadone, and then stailized at 40 mg. I was taking vic's through the night too. And it was hard taking methadone once a day. That's probably why I needed 40 mg of meth. On the flip side, I should of tried subutex for withdrawl, although its expensive it would of been less of an addiction. Now I have been taking meth for 5 years, because I enjoy it. Its really NOT good. Think twice before switching, if you want to be addicted worse then be my guest! Ozzie
Yes, became pregnant twice. The first time I became pregnant after 5 months of starting bromocriptine therapy. I stopped taking the medications, and i had a miscarriage at 11 weeks. Now I have been taking the medication for six months and iam approx. 4 weeks pregnant.
a shape that can be traced over without taking your pencil off the paper or tracing any side twice
There's no sense in splitting it - it lasts 24 to 36 hours.
It can, but 20mg is just not enough methadone to be any danger especially if she has been taking it for a prolonged period. Methadone is usually safe to take with most other drugs, but everyone is different and has different drug allergies. It is important to talk to your physician or pharmacist to find any drug interactions.
taking twice as many classes as normal.
You should detox from methadone in a medical detox facility. Methadone detox is the worst of all the opiates -- much worse than heroin -- lasts about twice to three times as long, and can be fatal in some cases. Suboxone is often used clinically for methadone detox, along with supporting medications as needed.
A better question would be If they broke up twice in six months and shes two months pregnant two months after they got back together is she pregnant? And the answer would be yes.
yes, they can be born addicted. every mother and every pregnancy is different. i know of a baby born to a mother that was already using methadone when she became pregnant. the mom had been on methadone for 4 yrs at the time of pregnancy, passing urine screens and following clinic rules. the dose during the pregnancy was 60mg/daily. the first day, the infant showed no withdrawal symptoms. the second day, however, the baby's pediatrician started giving the child methadone. it was a very small dose(0.5 mg twice a day). within 2 months, the baby was off the methadone. the doctor tapered him off it 0.1 mg at a time. thankfully, the child suffered no permanent disabilities and is now thriving.
