on my 92 explorer i had the same problem . i just bought a new blower fan for it. the fan was in a metal casing attached to the firewall on passenger side by the hood hinge . hope this helped.

The climate control is not operating for the passenger side. Check to insure the physical controls work, and the diverter vents are opening to let the cool air to the passenger side.
