a new heater core
i want to know what type of antifreeze does 1994 chevy camaro
in 1994 they still used the green antifreeze.
Drain the radiator into a container. Remove the upper radiator hose at the engine end. there is 2 bolts in the housing that hold the thermostat. Remove them and the thermostat and clean both surfaces. Install the new thermostat and housing. Install the upper hose and top off the radiator with a 50/50 mixture of antifreeze and water.
Follow the top radiator hose to where it connects to the motor. In this housing, is the thermostat.
Follow the upper radiator hose right to the thermostat housing and the thermostat is inside the housing
head gasket is blown
The thermostat for a 1999 Chevy Camaro V6 engine can be found under the hood. It is in the right side of the engine, under the throttle sensor.
Not unless it is on the thermostat housing.
It already has
thermostat, or buildup of deposits in intake and thermostat housing
Follow the upper radiator hose to where it connects with the intake manifold, (motor) in the housing the hose connects to, is the thermostat.
There is no 2009 Camaro. 2010 is already at dealers.
On the intake manifold near the thermostat housing.
To the right of the thermostat housing
Considering the 1996 Camaro Z28 already has a 350, the answer is yes
the color doesn't matter, just go to your local automotive store and ask for a antifreeze. Just provide exactly what model and year.
It is in the water outlet at the bottom of the large top rad hose.
Drain the radiator into a container. Remove the upper hose at the engine end. Remove the 2 bolts in the thermostat housing and remove the thermostat. Clean the surfaces and install the thermostat and housing. Install the upper hose and refill the radiator.
It si right beside your thermostat housing
Thermostat, water pump, radiator cap, headgasket, low coolant.
I would get the cooling sytem flushed and then replace the coolant ( mixture of antifreeze and preferably distilled water - usually 50 / 50 mix , but if a colder climate Ford states on Ford vehicles up to 60 % antifreeze can be used )
at the engine side of top radiator hose. it goes to the thermostat housing, remove the housing and it's right there
