Air in the cooling system - has to be bled to remove air
like words to describe the sound of flowing water? gurgling, rippling, bubbling, etc.
A sort of a rush, a whistle, a swissle i suppose ;)
That is the air rushing into the bottle to replace the void left by the water rushing out.
out of water, could have a water leak, fill up with water, should fix problem...
Maybe the container of windshield fluid in the trunk?

My heart sank as the last of the water went gurgling down the drain.
A common reason that drains may make a gurgling sound when water is being drained is due to build up along the sides of the pipe which create air pockets. To stop drains from gurgling you can use a safe drain cleaner to remove this residue and create a smoother flowing drainage.
Onomatopoeia: Where sounds are spelled out as words; or, when words describing sounds actually sound like the sounds they describe. I heard him gurgling water.
To stop burping is easy. All you do is drink water not fizzy drinks as they always make you burp
NO.
The overheating could be a problem with your cooling fan- The water gurgling, I'm not sure aboout, I suggest you check all you fluid levels edit by SkydiveSonic: Sounds like you may have a lot of air in the cooling system. Try pouring more coolant into the radiator (when the engine is cold!!), or better still perform a complete flush. Buy a Haynes manual for how to do this. It's quite easy to do.
