...don't you need a distributor? unless you're coil on plug, and computer controlled, it needs a mechanical distributor. apart from that, bust out the repair manual. it will tell you where everything is, usually with a picture for reference. if you still can't find it, you probably shouldn't be working on the vehicle. if the picture helps you find stuff, you need to trace the wires from the ecu to the coil (if computer controlled, ensuring no breaks) and from the battery to the coil, check the coil, if good keep moving up to the distributor, if that's still good, check your plug wires.
you really cant find it? the spark plug wires only come off of it! back of the cylinder head!
Is the distributor wire plugged in? Is the distributor out 180 degrees (backwards)?
Realy you cant do anything because of the crazy teachers today.
is it getting gas ? do you have spark?
is your timing off? are you getting any spark at all?
They are located at the end of the spark plug wires.
it doesnt it cant help it with getting food or anything like that its like 1 of there tusks
look at the top of the engine... it should have a cover that says Vortec on it. look straight back behind it. If you cant see it just follow a spark plug wire until it leads you to it. If that vehicle has the 2.2L engine, it doesn't have a distributor. It has a "Distributorless Ignition System" aka "DIS".
cant cant cant
you cant i do not think
you cant
I have a 94 Chevy C1500 with a 5.7L or 350. It had the same problem and it was the distributor timing is off. It also needed spark plugs and spark plug wires. But that cant be the only problem. It could also be a vacuum leak or the EGR valve is sticking. Try the timing first.
