You need to drain your radiator on a 2002 Dodge Dakota 4 X 4 Quadcab where is the drain plug located on the radiator?

Most radiators on these new models do not have drain plugs, especially if it's an aftermarket taiwanese radiator. If you have not found one after looking for it, your best bet is to drain it by removing the hose that leads to the water pump.

we had the same problem in our 99 dodge dakota, unbole the radiator from the frame, then unmount the trans cooler from the radiator then carefully bend the transcooler lines away from the passenger side of the radiator then is the hoses are disconected it shuld come right out. i hope i helped you

MY 1995 DAKOTA got hot because the radiator was rusted out. The fins on the radiator would crumble just by touching it. Replaced radiator, problem solved.

Remove the plastic cover underneath the radiator(passenger side) to access the radiator drain and you will need a large screwdriver.
