Hello all. My husband and I are trying to conceive # 2. I had my last depo shot about 10 weeks ago. That was my only shot since my daughter was born in Nov 04. I have a fertility monitor and my husband and I were just playing around with it. Well, after using it a couple of days, it said that I was at peak fertility and remained there for 2 days and high fertility on the 3rd day. I did not have a period the previous month. So, I figured that you have to ovulate before you have a period. I have been doing I few detox plans and I am just wondering if it worked? Do any of you know if you can ovulate while on depo and if so, can I possibly be pregnanat? Thanks in advance,
If you induce vaginal bleeding after having Depo-related amenorrhea, you bleed from your vagina. It does not "jump start" your normal period, it doesn't mean you ovulated, and it doesn't get Depo out of your system faster.
Bleeding on depo provera is a side effect, and has no special meaning.
AnswerYou usually become fertile when you ovulate naturally. You will know when you have ovulated because you will have your first period after coming of DEPO. This is a sign your body is now ovulating on its own.how will i know that
There are no activity restrictions when you're on Depo Provera.
Not usually. Most women do not experience periods while on Depo.
I have alot of friends that were on the depo shot. They gained about 5-10lbs while on it. After they got off of it they lost the weight. Well, some of them did.
Yes, you can get a hysterectomy while Depo Provera is still in effect.
you can not stop your period it depends on your body and how it interact with the depo
although you shouldn't but it can happen, after your 5th depo you shouldn't have a period.
Depo Provera lists headache as a potential side effect.
It could possibly mean that ur body is starting to regulate again or could could mean u have had a period. But I feel ur going back to normal. That's the time span they said that it take to get depo out the system
Pregnancy is not likely if you are using Depo Provera as directed, getting your shots on time. Depo Provera does not cause miscarriage or affect a pregnancy if you accidentally get it while you're pregnant or get pregnant while using it.
No, you can take Adderall while using the Depo shot, so long as you have a prescription for them.
Bleeding on Depo Provera is a side effect and has no special meaning or significance.
Depo Provera will not harm or end the pregnancy. There are no reports of increase birth defects or affects of development from children conceived on Depo Provera or whose mothers were unknowingly pregnant when they got Depo Provera. So, if you get pregnant while using Depo Provera, or if you find out you accidentally got a shot while you're already pregnant, you can still decide to continue or terminate the pregnancy without special concerns.
When you're on Depo Provera, you don't ovulate, and so don't get a real period. However, some women have bleeding or spotting while using Depo Provera. This is a common side effect.
yes Although, just because the Depo is out of your system and you are menstruating it does not mean you are fertile. Sometimes it does, but in the case of needing ovulation to conceive your best bet is to consider yourself "able to become pregnant" when you have ovulated. Again, this isn't necessarily true for every woman because all women are different.Depo Provera is cleared from a woman's body about 6 to 8 months after her last injection.Birth control is a funny thing and every woman's body is different. Having this period might not necessarily mean the depo is out of your system. If you're trying to get pregnant, it may take some time to conceive after being on the depo but keep trying. Some women get pregnant right away after stopping the shot, others may take a while. If you're worried about having another form of birth control to prevent becoming pregnant and are trying to transition, don't take your chances by having unprotected sex as there is the possibility you might not have the depo on board anymore.
Yes it is the depo running out because the same thing happens to me. and my doctor told me it was also a sign.
It's possible, but unlikely, to get pregnant on Depo Provera. After stopping Depo Provera, you can get pregnant before your next period starts.
Hopefully, you will not conceive while you are on depo, since it is a drug that you should not have while pregnant since it may cause birth defects. Wait until you have a good home situation before becoming pregnant.
Nyquil night time cold and flu does not affect how well Depo Provera works. Most medications do not affect Depo.
