You removed the band clamp and the clamp at each end the filter turns inside the ends can not get ends to come off filter?

clamp has forced the filter to form a groove in the hose that prevents it from pulling off, It will come off with some force, but may damage the end of hose making it leak when you connect to new filter. If there is enough hose just cut it off close as you can to the old filter and install new filter in the freash cut hose.
