If you suspect pregnancy, it is most likely implantation bleeding. Implantation bleeding is the result of the fertilized egg(s) implanting itself into the uttering lining which results in bleeding and occasionally abdominal cramping. This form of bleeding takes place six to twelve days after ovulation. ( A females ovulation generally takes place 14 days before her period). There will not be a large amount of blood, some women may not even notice any. Implantation bleeding only lasts a couple of days, this is the way to compare and contrast the difference between implantation and menstrual bleeding. You must keep in mind though that not everyone will experience implantation bleeding.

This is likely just a period. However, if you are pregnant, it could be the loss of the mucous plug. It is best to call your doctor.
Clear Vaginal Mucus
NO
Well if you are getting that instead of your period you might be pregnant. When you are pregnant that's about all you get is mucus. You will not bleed for nine months.
Increased mucus is just another part of being pregnant. As long as it is clear to cloudy with no foul odor / burning, it is normal. Check with your medical care provider if you have any questions.
