you took a test 5-7 days after you had a period? or after you missed a period? if you had a period, you are not pregnant (unless it was very light, it could be implantation bleeding). if you took the test 5-7 days after a missed period, it should be accurate.

The same thing happened to me....Im so upset! I'm going to schedule me an appointment for a blood test. I took another test today after bleeding for three days and still had a light positive line so maybe just maybe I will be lucky enough to still be pregnant! Before the bleeding I had 3 positive test. You can test 5 days before you missed your period. id suggest do it 2 or 3 days before. i took a test 5 days before and it was negative i took the 2nd test of the pack 3 days later and it was as bright as it could be. hcg doubles every few days

Could you be pregnant if your on your period but you took a pregnancy test it was negative but you are having symptoms?
When I got pregnant I took 3 test that all came back neg. I was pregnant. I knew I was, and waited a few days and took it again. It finally said positive. So yes you can be pregnant even though the test came back neg. If you think you are then you might want to go to the dr and get a blood test done. Or wait a couple day-a week and take it again.
