Thankfully, vampires don't actually exist, but according to the myths, legends, novels and Hollywood movies, holy water on the bite marks can help and also the application of a crucifix on the victim, and destruction of the vampire who did the biting. In the novel "Dracula", one of the victims of the Count, Lucy Westenra, had several blood transfusions to combat the loss of blood. Unfortunately, she still became a vampire after another round of neck biting.

Yes, it is possible to get bitten by someone who either believes that they are a vampire, or according a ritual and mythology is a vampire. I myself am a hybrid which is a person who is part human and part vampire. The bite is the worst part and usually, when a vampire bites someone, they don't do it just once.
