Your 1987 reliant 2.5 started dying occasionally now it has no pulse to the injector it runs fine if you squirt gas into throttle body iwould appreciate any ideas?

Fuel pump????? If it's an injector problem you should run a diagnostic test to see what the computer has encountered. It could be quite minor but you'll never know until the diagnostic codes have been read.
