check your internal parts of the drum brake on the particular side of vehicle, they are usually set up with an automatic brake adjuster that works when putting vehicle in reverse and lightly applying brakes while moving in reverse which adjusts your drum brakes, this part may be worn out and need replaced , most parts stores carry a hardware kit for your replacement brakes for any vehicle

If it is a factory doorlock system you want to keep using a two wire because the locks work off of reverse polarity

If the locks and rear window hatch on a 1998 Chevy Blazer lock and unlock by themselves, there is probably a problem with the fuse or a short somewhere. The locks are supposed to lock when the vehicle gets put in gear. Perhaps the system that tells the locks when to lock is not working properly.
