Your 2002 Ria Cinco overheats when you stop like in a drive-through but it's fine once you hit the road What is the cause of this?
Don't know what a "Ria Cinco" is, but from what you describe it seems like your radiator fan might not be comming on. Find the temperature sensor, use a jumper to override it and make certain that the fan turns on. If it doesn't, check the fuses and the fan motor. If the fan works but won't come on when the engine is hot, check the sensor.
Yep. Might even cause the engine to stop running forever when it overheats and seizes up. Your engine loves you and wants you to stop asking questions and fix the coolant system. Something is causing you to have low coolant levels and you need to figure out why. Take it to a reputable shop for diagnosis.
I have a speed sensor out on my 2002 kia Rio cinco wagen! how do i find out if there is more than one and wear they are located??????? There is 2 that i know about. 1 is on the passenger side where the break line goes by the wheel the other is on the backside of the motor below the throttle body that's the one i changed which fixed my problem with my speedometer…
What is the problem when the temperature gauge in a 2002 Mitsubishi Galant goes up and down but the car never overheats?
2002 mustang GT Overheats quickly and smokes Radiator and hoses full of sludge Have replaced water pump radiator and thermostat?
Is the cover over the spark plugs on a 2002 Kia Rio Cinco necessary or can you leave it off after changing the plugs?
Yes, the cover prevents water, dirt etc from getting in the spark plug wells. This will cause misfiring and the ECM (computer) will register misfire events and the engine will run rough or stall. This cover also retains heat from the engine creating ideal operating conditions and this heat drys moisture that forms when the engine is off.
2001 Kia Rio shakes a lot at idle and seems to be coming from engine what could it be it only does it while the car is in drive not while its in park?
If it is a 6cyl 1. if it is a v8 not sure if there is more than on the block, but there is one on the throttle body that has a small line going form the throttle body to the radiator. It keeps some one that can't read gauges from frying the motor, it also puts the motor at a idle when the car overheats.
