Because the engine is designed to run on Regular Unleaded. You are wasting your money running a higher octane fuel. It is a myth that higher octane fuel creates more power or more mpg. Octane has nothing to do with power nor MPG. Anyone who tells you different does not know what they are talking about. Octane is used to prevent pre-ignition in a high compression engine and nothing else. This is why people think it increases power. They assume that performance cars use Premium so it must increase power. Absolutely not the case. High performance engines use premium due to their high compression rations. Use the octane fuel recommended by the manufacture. Running a higher octane can actually damage some engines.
Yes you can use premium gasoline in unleaded because premium gasoline is also unleaded. The only reason it is called premium gasoline is because it has a higher octance then regular unleaded. Regular unleaded has an octane rating of 87 and premium has an octane rating of 92. Premium gasoline burns slower then regualr gas because it has a higher octane rating.
Not as long as the premium fuel is also unleaded.
always premium gas
The best gas mileage from unleaded gasoline or premium gasoline depends on the car. Old cars get better mileage from unleaded.

It's usually Premium Unleaded, however due to the rise in Oil Prices, they have converted to diesel.
Yes. You can use unleaded, plus, or premium. Premium is 97 octane wich means it burns alot cleaner and richer. As there of unleaded is 87 octane. Premium will make your engine run better. And for eco friendly people...its "good" for the ozone.
Premium unleaded is recommended, but I'm running 92 octane std unleaded at the moment, hasn't made any difference. Pete
