The most common cause to changes in steering feel are related to your tires. The first thing to do is check all 4 tires visually for uneven wear, and check their pressure.
Overinflated tires can make your steering feel light. Any uneven wear to your tires, or uneven pressure can make your steering feel strange. The other main thing it could be is your Power Steering. The pump bypass may not be working properly, and your power-steering could be causing this light feel.
tried changing you engine oil?
Drive it to the mechanic. You have something wrong and that is what the car is telling you. Oil, water, something is not right.
The ABS light means there is something wrong with the brakes. The car will move and drive without exploding, but your safety will be severely reduced. Please get it fixed.
Because something is wrong with it.
The flashing light is warning you that something is going wrong inside your engine, or steering system, or brakes, or anything else. It can not be safe to drive with any signal light flashing (except, obviously, left and right). You have to bring in your car for a check up as soon as possible.
if the transaxle light comes on in the car can you still drive it
I have 98 4 cyliner automatic Toyota Camry. When I'm coming to a red light, and when I'm braking, the car begins to shake, and the shake doesn't stop even when the car is stopped. Howeverif i switch the transmission from drive to neutral, the car stops shaking. If I switch back to Drive or reverse, it car starts to shake again. What could be wrong?
switch it off....?
It means you drive down to you local car parts store and ask to borrow one of their engine light code readers to see what the problem is, the light indicates there is something wrong, that something wrong could be 100 things, you need the reader to find out whats wrong.
if it's a GM car tcc solenoid
That depends on exactly why the light is on.
It will cool down, nothing is wrong with it. It is just air.
