Your car sometimes won't start and the battery light comes on. Is this a wiring problem although it starts most of the time. Also my window wipers sometimes just stop in the middle of my windscreen?

Stop by AutoZone or Advance Auto Parts, they have free service to check the battery. It looks like with wipers you have a separate problem. You are right it might be wiring, but it might not. Most likely you just haveoxidized wires, so you need to check that. Also the mechanism which is responsible for wires can be damaged, ware off or just rusty.

No it is an internal battery and the manufacturer, although realizing that the battery life seems to be an issue, has not offered a fix for the problem.

my best simple guess would be that there is a problem with your battery.... if you can, try another battery and see if that fixes the problem... if not, the problem may lie in your electrical re-charging system, like your alternator or wiring... but, before you replace the battery, clean the battery terminals and terminal connections.

I know that sometimes sat nav has a problem in a 206 due to the athermic windscreen that can block some of the siggnals on gps. Check with car hand book to see if this is the case for your car. Not sure what you can do to fix problem though, check with manufacturer
