say goodbye to your dog
If a dog is not able to sleep at night, they may need medical intervention from a vet. The vet may prescribe sleeping pills for the dog. Some commonly prescribed medications for canine insomniacs include Rimadyl and Fluoxetine.
Yes but they have to be the right kind of pills. Some sleeping pills are 'safe' that is you cannot overdose on them. Take him/her to the vet, wehere they will do it humanely.
I assume you want to administer over the counter sleeping pills to a dog. There is a lot of documenation available for giving dogs diphenhydramine which is the same ingrediant in Benydryl and in most over the counter sleeping pills. So I recommend sticking to Benydryl or an OTC sleeping pill with diphenhydramine and not expiramenting with doxylamanine. Benydryl dosage should be 1 mg for every 10lbs of dog. A 20lb dog should take 2mg of diphenhydramine.
give it some sleeping pills and have sex with it. you'll stop fantasising about it then. you'll just be remembering.
No. Because that is bonding and the dog will continue sleeping with you instead of it's own bed
you should call a vet
You should never give a dog a medication that is intended for a human, and sleeping pills for a puppy is an extremely dangerous idea. Depending on the type of sleeping pill and the size of the puppy, the effect could be at least a very sick puppy and at worst a dead puppy. As a pet owner you have a responsibility to protect your puppy from harm, and this would certainly harm him and would be considered animal abuse. If you want your puppy to sleep well, take him for a nice long walk.
There is no way anyone could answer this question without knowing what KIND of pills the dog ate. If your dog eats pills, call a vet immediately.
no
It would take much proper training, but for now you should just let your dog be outside.
I very highly doubt it. If she appears to be sick, you should take her to a vet.
The symptoms are quite similar to humans. If your dog is acting like it is not hungry or is sleeping more these are signs. Also if your dog is not greeting you or interacting with you then this should be another sign.
