They have a blood quick in their nails so, if it gets hurt and the nail is broken or hurt, that is where they are bleeding from. Clean it off with a wipe if you can. You can cover it in baby powder and the bleeding will stop. Just watch your guinea pig and make sure that it isn't limping or yelling out in pain. If it is, then you should take it to a vet as it might be infected.
