Bi-Polar disease is a physiological mental illness that can be treated with a multi-discinplinary approach of medication, therapy , and behavior modification , and the bi-polar person learning to recognize his cycles of euphoria or depression. This is a lifetime , ongoing process, and certainly a dedicated partner helps tremendously. Even doing all the right things will never be a guarantee of fidelity. If he is getting all this treatment, you may decide to try to help. If he was diagnosed before your marriage and did NOT tell you , you are not legally or morally obligated to stay. One thing I can say for sure is that you can not " love " someone out of this condition. This absolutely requires professional help.
With the right combination of counseling and meds, yes. But it won't be quick, pretty,or easy.
