My iPod won't turn on

i had the same thing happen to me. My iPod broke like 3 days after i got it. my friend is an ipod pro and he said to hold the 'menu and center buttons' at the same time... if not then the 'play and center button' its an auto reset. if it doesnt work then something like the wire joints came undone in your ipod this also happened to me and i tryed the centor and menu button together and it turned on and your friend would of read the menu when u get an ipod because in the panvlit u get when u purchase a ipod it has press centor and menu button together and it worked for me aswell so yer.Try that

If your iPod will not turn on try one of two things. First try charging it before you power it on. If it does not have enough power it will not be able to power on. If that does not work try plugging it into your PC and restoring its original factory settings.

It's probably dead... Or you should hold down the button on top of the IPod touch. Otherwise your IPod Touch might have a glitch and you should bring it to the apple store. Another way before you try the apple store or conclude that you have a glitch is to hold the power button and the middle button on the middle of the bottom part of the Ipods front side. First, you need to know exactly what happened before the crash. What did you do that made it not turn on, or think what made it not turn on? Try holding the power and home button simultaneously for six seconds, and plug it into the computer if that doesn't work. If none of the above works, take it to the Genius Bar at your local Apple store.

if you have a click wheel ipod, try holding menu and the middle button down at the same time until you see the apple logo. if not, i can't help you.

press and hold the "volume down" and the "sleep/wake" buttons at the same time for a few seconds and it will turn on

Either the battery is dead or you have to restart it.
