This is what you do............

Go to your nearest Apple Store or Best Buy and show them and they will tell you to bang your iPod on the wall and if that doesn't work then you will have to get insurance to fix it.

well for privacy reasons apple does not allow you to open an ipod without entering the password. You would have to in my opinion, restore your ipod sadly. I have been locked out of my ipod many times because I forgot the password. I hope this help someone out in the real world.
easy take you IPod or IPhone charger plug it into the computer and go on to iTunes and it should unlock it if it doesn't call APPLE.
hold down the button in the center and menu and then wait for an apple to show u( this is how i fixed my nano)
unlock it?
type in the password..
The amount of memory that is says is the formatted memory, not the actual memory.
When ur iPod says it's locked with a passcode it means u went to ur settings and put a passcode on it so when u lose ur iPod and somebody finds it they can't see all ur stuff unless they go on the computer and hack it
You go to "general" on your ipod and there should be an option that says password then you put the 4 digits you want as your pass-code twice and TA DA you have a lock on you ipod.
I have an Ipod Touch my self and it is very easy to join a wireless network. First go to settings and choose the wi-fi option. On it you will see a option that allows you to turn wi-fi on and off. Once you make certain that it's on look under and you will notice it says choose a network. All you have to do now is pick a network without a lock(it is locked if it has a picture of a lock next to it) or choose a locked network that you know the password to. Personally, I recommend only using familiar networks or networks from public places like restaurants, airports, cafes, etc.
Human error.
If it is saying you should hook it up to iTuens, it is not broken. You must, as it says, hook it up to iTunes, register your iPod, and download the latest software for it. Then, the iPod becomes useable. Your iPod is not broken, and this usually occurs if it is a new iPod.
try to plug it harder in the usb port or plug in the ipod in the cable
A locked phone is good to know about when purchasing a used phone. When someone says "locked phone" it usually means that the phone is not able to be activated until the bill through the carrier is paid in full.
for an iPod touch ,to change your passcode go to settings app and there should something called general. You click on it, then it should take you to passcode lock. From there you can chage your code. But if you already have a lock, you have to eneter it in. If you forgot this then you can take it to the apple store. Or plug it in to your computer and click on your itouch's name. There should be some tabs near the top. Find the right one and there should be a button that says chage pass code.
you download itunes and plug it in again then it should set up your ipod. make an acount in itunes plug in the ipod touch click download takes 5 to 10 mins and it will be done then u ave to get wifi u will have to know someone's password to do that then Bye
The iPod touch doesn't have cellular network access so you can't "unlock" it in that sense. There is a bar which comes up on the bottom when you have "locked" the touchscreen controls which you slide to unlock.
all you have to do is press the on button at the top of the screen and if you dont have a lock code set just slide your finger where it says slide if you have a lock code on it type in that code and it will be unlocked
