Make sure you don't have the dome light switch turned on and if that's ok one of your door switches are sticking or bad.

If a 1987 Chevy Suburban has lights and horn, but no ignition, gauges, radio, or interior lights it could be a ground wire problem. It is possible that there is a short somewhere. Also check the dome light for a possible water leak in the headliner.

Check for bad ground
check the multi function switch. I hava a 96 Chevy Monte Carlo and I had the same problem . I changed the multi function switch and the brakes lights now work. the rear brake lights run thru the switch on the turn signal circuit. try it and see.
I have the same problem..dash lights were intermittent for about a month and now no dash lights at all. My guess is the light switch but I havent checked it yet.

If the warning lights go off in a Chevy Tahoe, it indicates a problem. In order to reset these lights the problem must be solved.
