Is the motor getting power? is the regulator working? The rear windows will not go all the way down. It is a child protection thing. They will only roll down half way.
The most common window problems in a 2007 Sebring are the fuse, the relay, the switch, and the motor. Check the fuse and the relay. If they are ok then the door will have to have the panel removed to reach the switch and motor.
Smash a window or call a locksmith.
needs a new window motor and regulator
Dealer, eBay, salvage yard, part store, etc.
The 2005 Chrysler 300 rear window defrost relay switch can be found beneath the drivers side dashboard. The rear window defrost relay switch will be near the center console.
try getting a new crank
I would use 100 % clear silicone, or Lexel.
Driver side front door panel.
The wires for the left front window are red/black for up and green/black for white. For the right front window, the wires for up are red/white and the wires for down are green.
If this is the terminal mounted on the window, clear silicone is best.
Try E-Bay or junk yard
it can if it is hydraulic it may be an electric motor that works same way as window winder
Remove the decorative cover to the window switch panel. Remove the window switch retaining screws. Remove the wiring harness from the back of the window switch. Reverse the process to install the new window switch.
is for power window
It is supposed to work that way. The AC is used to help remove excess moisture from the interior air so that the defroster can clear the window more efficiently.
If it is a Chrysler product they quit using illuminated switches even though they look like they have a green light in them
Not sure what the question is referring to - but if my guess is correct, you might have a corroded power window switch on one of the doors. Often times, rain will get on these switches and cause the switch contacts to get "gummed up" or corroded over. Simple job to remove the switches (do them both) and clean them off really good with some isopropyl alcohol and a Q-tip. You can replace the moisture barrier with the stuff sold by Auto Zone in a small squeezy pack! Good luck!
Both window switch on the front door will lower the window, the problem is that both switch will not raise the window back up to its close position and also the master window switch on the Driver's side will not operate all the time nor will the master door lock on the driver's side lock the passenger side door. On several ocasion the driver's side window switch lowered it's window and it would'nt raise the window back up unless after quite a few minutes playing with the window switch, opening the door, etc.
Usual issues are window motor, window regulator, switches & wiring
how do you know its the switch? does the window (power) move up & down? You can use the other switch from the right or left hand side of the one that works. switch the wires. if the windows work, then its the switch. if the switch doesn't work, then its the window motor.
the switch is on the door panel approx four inches from the window, this is the only switch that sends power to the window regulator motor (window motor).
A power window relay switch relays the power from the car's battery, to the switch itself, and then to the window motor. When pressing the button inside of the car it allows the power to go from the relay switch to the motor and roll the window up or down.
You installed the switch wrong.
