Errr. One word. YES!
First of all. Is your car running any other peripheral equipment? i.e. Air Con, Power Steering, Electric Mirrors, Electric Sunroof, Power Windows? If the answer to this is yes, then it may benefit you to not run so much a bigger battery (this could short out the electronics in your vehicle by running TOO MUCH current through the electronics system) but perhaps a separate system for the stereo (perhaps storing the battery in a cleverly concealed, fireproof area in the back (away from the tank) or in the engine bay.
As it will only require a small battery (smaller than a hatchback battery) to run your stereo... if you hook it up right, it will kick into gear when you start the car up...
Hope this helps!
battery light on 2000 f250 will blink if battery is not properly charged. an example is if you have been sitting all day with stereo olaying and engine not running, you have run battery down some. after starting engine and driving, the battery light will blink while alternator charges until battery is fully charged i have only experienced this at night when lights are on creating extra load for alternator ,after running battery down with stereo all day
You have to get a code for it. You can get from the internet ir Mitsubishi, but its not free.
Some stereo systems coming with Camry have auto-theft protection code, it means if you disconnect battery or the stereo itself, you will have enter a code when you power it on. If you do not that code you might have some hard times unblocking the stereo. Also some people have problems with fuses after battery change. Thus the fuse boxes.
Battery? Ignition switch?
