The problem most likely is with the turn signal switch under the steering wheel. You didn't say so, but probably, the problem occurs more on one side (left) than on the other. It would be best to take your car to your local mechanic, especially if your car employs an airbag. It is much more involved than the average DIY person can do, not to mention the specialized tools needed for the job.
There is a problem with the cam sensor or the wiring to it.

I have a turn signal light that keeps flashing regardless of the control arm position. I think that the problem is in the turn signal control relay but I don't know where it is located. I did find the 3 prong relay located behind the center console but this is not the problem because I replaced it and have the same problem.
You have a failed bulb on the right side.
The multifunction switch is the turn signal switch and whatever else is part of it.
If the bulbs and fuse are good, replace the turn signal Flasher Relay.
1391 is for an intermittent loss of the cam sensor or crank sensor signal

To turn on the fog lights you pull the end of the turn signal lever it will pop out about 1/8th inch.
OPen the trunk or hood, pull out the panel and replace the bulb... If that doesnt work, check your fuses
