No - prisoners should be treated the same - no matter what their sexual orientation is. It's up to the prison staff to ensure all inmates are aware of the consequences of bullying someone over their sexuality. Remember - if they didn't break the law - they wouldn't be incarcerated !

Opinion: Prison rape is a problem that has never had much to do with sexual orientation. I feel that it is a separate issue from LGBT convicts. But I do believe that transgender women convicts should be sent to female prisons.
