Bacon Wrapped Chicken Appetizer
1 1/4 pounds boneless chicken breasts
1 package sliced bacon
2/3 cup firmly packed brown sugar
1 tablespoon chili powder (optional)
Salt & pepper to taste
1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.
2. Cut chicken breasts into approximately 1-inch cubes. Cut each bacon slice into thirds.
3. Wrap each chicken piece with bacon and secure with a wooden pick.
4. Stir together brown sugar and chili powder. Salt & pepper to taste.
5. Coat wrapped chicken in mixture.
6. Place chicken in a baking dish. Bake 350 degrees F for 30 to 35 minutes or until bacon is crisp.
