If you mean someone that receives SSDI (Social Security disability) then yes you will get a stimulus check. If you are just disabled but do not receive SSDI then it will depend on your yearly income. If you go to IRS.gov they have all the info you need on the stimulus check and who is eligible for it and who is not.

The months long wait for stimulus payments for seniors, as part of the stimulus bill passed February, is now over, CNN reports. Nearly 55 million seniors and retirees will receive the $250 one-time payment between now and June 4, 2009. Most of the checks have been sent out this week. (May 11, 2009). Payment will either be received as a separate check, in addition to Social Security payments, or appear in accounts as a direct deposit.

HI my name is Judy I am a widow my husband passed away May 07 2008. I had no idea how complicated things can get when you loose your husband. My husband Bill was disabled even before we found out he had a fatal disease. I myself am also disabled. After readjusting my disability check and my husband's social security I make less now than I did when my husband was alive. I like so many of you live from pay check to pay check. I was counting on our new President to keep the disabled and the elderly in mind when he signed the stimulus packager I can't get an answer on this question. Does the disabled and the elderly get a check from the stimulus package the President singed the other day. Like so many of you I am in desperate need for money. I did not have enough out of my husband's life insurance to buy him a head stone yet. I was depending on this stimulus check to help me get a head stone for my husband's grave. If any one has the answer to if we do or do not get a stimulus check I would appreciate it if you would leave your answer here so I can finally know what's going on I'll check in later to see if someone knows what is going on. thanks, Judy
