Peanut Butter Cup Drink

Yes, drink dessert with this perfect pairing of chocolate and peanut butter. Kids love the taste, and you can easily keep the ingredients on hand year round.

• Add a tablespoon of peanut butter to a package of prepared cocoa mix and hot water.
• Microwave for 40 seconds or until hot and melted.
• Stir to incorporate and top with ice cream or whipped topping. Yum.

White Chocolate Bark

A 12-oz. bag of white Chocolate Chips and ingredients like dried cherries, peanuts, slivered almonds, miniature marshmallows pretzels, peanut butter chips (or other candies) can make a delightful and decadent dessert. Here's how:

• Melt white chocolate chips in a glass container in the microwave for thirty to forty seconds.
• Stir in a 1/4 of a cup miniature marshmallows, 2/3 of a cup small pretzels, a 1/4 cup dried cherries and a couple of tablespoons slivered almonds or chopped pecans. (Vary the ingredients to taste. There are lots of options.)
• Spread the mixture in a thin layer onto a wax paper lined cookie sheet and place it in the freezer for ten minutes. Break the chilled bark into small pieces. This one goes fast, so make plenty.

Rice Cereal Squares

Your children love this marshmallow and cereal treat around the holidays, but when you use your microwave to melt the marshmallows, you can easily make it anytime of the year.

• Combine one bag of mini marshmallows and 1/4 cup of butter in a microwave safe bowl. Microwave on high for 40 seconds to a minute (microwave speeds vary). Add 6 cups of rice cereal, and stir to incorporate. (This one can get sticky.)
• Press the mixture into a 9"x13"x2" pan you've greased ahead of time.
• Cover and refrigerate for ten minutes.
• Cut into squares and serve.

Now all you need is a bowl of popcorn and a great movie playing on your flat screen.
