All-in-one desktops may well be the future of desktop computing. They involve placing the miniaturized components of the laptop into the backing of a fairly good size LCD monitor. By adding the wireless keyboard and mouse, one has an all-in-one desktop. The advantage that they have over regular desktops is not their portability, but that they require less space to set up. All-in-one desktops still have a way to go as far as the manufacture of components dedicated to their packaging. But they certainly seem attractive, mounted on walls for immediate, satisfying computer power.
