45 inches max total, when you add the length, plus width, plus height. It is possible for some bags to be under this 45 inch rule, but still not fit. There is a baggage sizer (metal framed thing) at the airport usually, that you can drop the bag into, to see if it will fit in the cabin's overhead bin, or under seat area. The longest length cannot be more than 24 inches, then 14, and 9 for the smallest (I think). There is no weight limit .. but remember ... YOU have to carry it around all day.
Carry ons can be no more than 45 inches and no more than 40 pounds. The information is located on their website under baggage information. http://www.aa.com/aa/i18nForward.do?p=/travelInformation/baggage/carryOnAllowance.jsp&anchorEvent=false
As a rule of thumb, I would say stick to 45 linear inches (add the length, width and height together).
22" tall x 14" wide and 9" deep seems to be a good example.
Most airlines allow for a maximum size of 14 x 9 x 22 inches (36x23x56 cm) and no heavier than 40 lbs (18 Kg).
40lbs.
22"x14"x9"
The exact dimensions of allowable carry-on baggage vary from airline to airline. However, the dimensions used by British Airways are 22 xÊ18 xÊ10 inches, including all pockets, handles, and wheels.
Your carry on luggage should have a lot of pockets and alot of compartments to it.
You have to fit specific dimensions, or get it stored with oversized luggage compartment.
The maximum size would roughly be the size of gym tote. You cannot bring something so large as a carry usually in my experience. Let me know which airline you use and I will give you specific details.
I am assuming u are referring to taking perfume on an airline.... Yes you may just make sure it goes in your checked luggage.... There are restrictions on fluids in carry on luggage
It depends on the airline. For example on British Airways it has to be 20 inches high and 16 inches wide.
To find the answer to this question please see the web site of the airline you will be using. Weight varries from airline to airline as well as what your destination.
The actual size limits depend on the airline itself, so you should check with your airline. But for many airlines, your hand luggage must not exceed 115cm in dimensions (sum of length + breadth + height) including any protrusions.
She had her luggage packed immediately. The airline lost our luggage.
The luggage rules at the Gatwick Airport include that you can only have one carry on luggage and it cannot exceed dimensions 56cm x 45 cm x 25cm and you can only carry a small amount of liquids and creams. You can learn more about the luggage rules and regulations at the Gatwick Airport website.
