Dale Earnhardt did drive a #8 Goodwrench Nova from 1986-1988 in the Busch Grand National Series.... now Nationwide Series....
Currently, there are no plans for either Dale Jr. or RCR to bring the black #3 GM Goodwrench Chevy back to the race track. Dale Jr. just won the Nationwide Series race at Daytona this year on July 2, driving the #3 Wrangler car in honor of his Dad. Bittersweet victory.
Following Dale Sr's death in 2001, Richard Childress placed Kevin Harvick in the GM Goodwrench Chevy, using the #29. But as of today, GM Goodwrench is no longer a sponsor and the #3 is not being used in the Cup Series.

Goodwrench says to "Inspect" at 60,000 miles. I recommend at every oil change. Replace if cracked or damaged...
If you have to ask how to perform this very simple, basic task, take it back to the Chevy dealer and let Mr. Goodwrench do it.
