Remove the tire and wheel from your 1997 Chevy Lumina. Remove the end of the axle. Remove the wheel bearing nut. Remove the wheel bearing seal and the wheel bearing. Reverse the process to install the new wheel bearing.

this car has hub and bearing as a unit I believe. No repacking necessary.
If you are referring to the front bearings, you have to buy a complete hub assembly.
Need to know if it is 2 wheel drive or 4 wheel drive.

sorry to have to tell you this but the bearings are part of the wheel hub and sealed within. you need to change the entire hub. $$$$$$$

This is a very hard job without the proper equipment. Not recommended for the novice. It will also depend which bearings you are asking about, front or back. Both equally hard to do.
