you need to remove the window motor then you can just move it by hand,my 92 astro van is the same way
I have a 92 Astro van with 197,000 miles. I have had nothing major go wrong with it. It has served me well. I also have Astro 2004 AWD with 191,000 miles with very few problems. I also know someone with 1996 Astro with 287,000 mile, doesn't look like much, but, works well.
Underneath the passenger side of the vehicle. Apparantly it's 2 bolts to remove but you must disconnect the battery 1st.
Ground unit to inner fender well or other good engine ground Run an ignition sensitive Hot wire to unit
red is positive. black negative. yellow is power antenna if you have one. combo's of green/brown blue/yellow are front/back left/right speakers.
without any fault codes--I'd have a look at the ecm capacitors. If you have fault codes, get an analog meter and test the ecm--look on stealth 316 garage and it tells you how to do the test.
If you get 92 on an IQ test how smart are you? no
It is located behind the passenger side kick panel.
scanners work for 96 vechicles or newer
Usually can be done by unhooking the battery for 10 min or so.
the trunk...it will say ecm on it some but few are under the dash..
