Depends on what engine it has...
215
"A stock 1987 Camaro Z28 305 V8 engine has at least 280 horsepower" Sorry, but the '87 305 only puts out 165 to 215 hp depending on the performance package. The 350 of that year only increased this by 10 hp to 225. Source: http://www.thirdgen.org/1987-pontiac-firebird
I believe 30 thousandths auto parts store should be able to tell you
Depends on the engine...
bad coil, bad ignition control, bad ecu, blown fuse and or switch need more info
The 305 "HO" was actually dropped after 1986. In '87, the base 305 TBI was rated at 170 hp, the 305 TPI was rated at 215 hp.
87 HP
uhm no? 87 z28s only had 215 horsepower with a manual 5 speed and 190 horsepower with an automatic 4 speed I'm going to correct the above answer that is grossly incorrect. Please, if you don't know the answer don't bother. Let me do it so I can educate the masses on this type of stuff. Also, before answering use proper English and spelling and correct wording so others like myself can understand you. Thanks. The 1987 Camaro Z28's did NOT all have a 350 TPI. Most had the lowly 305 TPI. The 350 TPI for the 1987 Camaro IROC-Z had 225hp, not 190hp & it had a 700r4 auto/transmission. The 305 TPI Z28/IROC-Z that year had anywhere from 170hp to 215hp which could either be had with a 4 speed automatic tranny or a 5 speed tranny.
The 87 comaro if stock takes GL90 gear oil , if its a posi you will need a special additive Good luck
n/a 160, turbo 200
