Sometimes a ticking sound is a valve lifter. The faster you go the faster the ticking will be.
Make sure first it is not something stuck in a tire or something on the fan belt.

Bad switch? Bad relay/ Breaker tripped?
The horn relay on a 2003 Pontiac Sunfire is typically located in the under-hood fuse box. You can find this fuse box near the battery on the driver's side of the engine compartment. The horn relay is usually labeled on the inside cover of the fuse box, making it easier to identify. If you're troubleshooting the horn, it's a good idea to check this relay first.
They stopped making Pontiac in 2010
The Jbody cavalier and sunbird(aka sunfire) were made from 1982-2005.Gm discontinued the body line due to age, market demand and changing to meet a new market of buyers. The cobalt took place of the cavalier/sunfire in 2006.
It's normal for the ABS unit in that vehicle to make an awful noise while making an ABS stop. I'm not sure exactly what causes it.
battery is dead
the pullee to any belt could be bent
probably broken bearings
Well, the fuel pump is inside the fuel tank. It may very well be that your pump is what's making the noise.
