If your Dodge truck is of the 1995-1999 era your outside temperature sensor should be on the driver side on the front of the radiator should be lower left looks almost like a black plastic tube mounted to a plate Your sensor is still connected but if you have had any radiator work or body work done on the front end of your truck chances are the shop that you took it to took the whole radiator out and they would have had to have un fastened the sensor and either left it hanging or they mounted somewhere else
Hop this helps
There are many reasons why degrees are used to measure temperature. Degrees were coined by someone with the best idea.
air temperature
The simple answer is: nope! Temperature is only a measurement of how hot or cold something is relative to a fixed reference. Examples are: body temperature of someone with a fever (102 degrees versus the "normal" 98.6 degrees); the temperature of a baking oven (350 degrees); the warmth of water in a swimming pool (95 degrees).
A body temperature of 123 degrees Fahrenheit is extremely high and would likely be fatal. This level of temperature is well beyond what the human body can withstand and is not compatible with life. If someone were to have a temperature this high, immediate medical attention would be required.

Because they don't go that high. Water boils at 100 degrees Celsius. Body temperature is 37 degrees Celsius, so there's no need for a clinical thermometer to cover a range much higher than expected for body temperature; they might need to go up to say 45 tops (and if someone has a body temperature of 45 degrees Celcius, they're either dead or dying).
