my 2000 focus has the same problem... theres a factory recall on the right rear wheel assembly. you might want to look it up at the Ford website. you'll need you vin number. if your car has the recall, take it to a ford dealership and they should fix it for free. it would be a great idea to get this checked out because if you let it go and it is defective, the brake drum assembly might come apart and well.. bye bye left rear wheel! haha
