Blade Type ATO/ATC Automotive Fuses: 10A for the turn signal lamps & 15A for the Brake/Hazard Lamps. Hope that helps.

if it's not the right kind, then YES. I'm pretty sure a 87 Bird takes 10W30
The same kind that is originally installed, if it uses fuses. The amperage is on the cover.
