The yellow warning light on the dashboard of your Mini Cooper typically indicates a minor issue that requires attention, such as low tire pressure, a faulty brake pad, or an engine warning. It is recommended to consult your Mini Cooper's ownerโs manual or take your car to a mechanic for a diagnostic check to determine the specific problem.
Check your gas cap. If the tank does not build pressure, it trips a sensor and the check engine light will come on. The gas smell is the fumes that should have created the pressure.

There is a button type switch to the rear of the emergency brake, turn on ignition, starting car and hold button type switch. Light will reset. Also check air pressure on tires prior to above.

Tire pressure warning light.
You do not reset an oil light. If the light is on, then you have low oil pressure. It will go out when the oil pressure is sufficent. Check the oil level. If it is full, then you have a problem an should seek professional help. Do not drive this vehicle with the light on.
No
No that is not likely.
There is no way a user can reset the tire pressure light manually except to make sure there is tire pressure above 25-26 lbs on all 5 tires. The tire pressure system also monitors the tire pressure in the spare tire. So after you have checked that all the tires on the car (pressure should be about 32 lbs check your driver side door sticker for specifics) make sure to check the air pressure in the spare and fill as needed. This should solve your problem and turn that annoying little light off.
Oil level or pressure will not trip a check engine light.
Check the pressure in all of the tires and inflate them to the pressure indicated on the door jam. The light should go off within a few minutes. If it stays on then you have a bad sensor in the tire or on the car.
