Fuel pressure from the fuel pump and a signal from the ECM (Engine Control Module) to open.
Fuel Injection Control Module. (FICM)
It's part of the Engine Control Module.
The computer that control ignition/ fuel injection, Variable valve timing, cylinder deactivation, etc.
IT has electric fuel injection there is an fsd module (Fuel Solenoid Driver) sitting in the v of the motor. I'm guessing its the 6.5 Detroit.
The Manifold absolute pressure monitors intake manifold pressure and ambient barometric pressure. The PCM/ power train control module uses this input signal to determine engine load and adjusts fuel injection duration accordingly.
fuel injection control module i would say
i know on a wb its in distributor
There are two. The FICM fuel injection control module is located on top of the drivers side valve cover and the PCM powertrain control module is located in the drivers side finder behind the battery.
Far passenger side of the firewall, behind the air cleaner.
