There is no cabin filter to find.
2002 was the last year for the cabin filter, so 2003 doesn't have one.
If it has a cabin filter, the drivers manual would show you where, when and how to replace it.
Here's the answer: http://www.mooresmopars.com/GT-Cruiser/Cabin-Air-Filter/
IT IS LOCATED BEHIND THE GLOVE BOX (GLOVE BOX MUST BE REMOVED). The 2003 Sliverado does not have a cabin filter, you can take the truck down to the frame and you won't find it. The car parts still list one for the 2003 but when you look at the size of it and then look under the dash it is apparent there is not cabin filter space. The filter is a big as the air filter. Also, the 2003 Silverado owners manual does not list a cabin filter. Hope this helps.
I own both a 2008 tundra and a 2003 4Runner. Both of them have a cabin filter behind the glove box. Remove the glove box door and you will find it.
the cabin air filter is located in glove box. It's white plastic and you have to pull it out. you can also find it in the owner's manual.
There is no cabin air filter in the 2003 Chevrolet Avalanche. Someone is offering a kit so you can install cabin air filters because General Motors deleted that feature. You can find the kit thru the Avalanche fan club.
You can find behind the glove box compartment.

Look in the glove box there is a black door open it and its there
I don't think there is one. I just looked in the glovebox manual for my 2003 Limited and could find no mention of one
