The Russians, by the time the had got to Berlin had been at war for a very considerable time, without cessation. D Day to Berlin was less than 12 months for the British, & US & Canadians. Yes, I know there had been fighting all through North Africa & Sicily & Italy, and that offensive showed how tough warfare had become. But the Russians were really unsure, in many ways, of just how to get on with their 'Allies'. US General Mark Clark was vocal in his hostility towards the Russian Communist regime, Propaganda was rife in all things, no less in Russia than anywhere else. The Russians had advanced all the way from Stalingrad at the start of 1943 & had now occupied most of eastern Europe as far west as Vienna & Prague & Budapest & the Elbe river. Yalta & Potsdam had taken over from what had been said at Casablanca & Tehran...And the terrible reality was realised, as had been suspected in the efforts to help the Poles in the Warsaw Uprising were denied by Soviet intransigence. Why ? No, I cannot say. The Soviets were quite happy to accept the Murmansk convoys of ships full of tanks & aircraft & bullets & so on. When it came to giving the people of eastern Europe their freedom from Nazi tyrrany they replaced it with more of the same: Soviet tyrrany. Explanation ? No, not from me.
The early man explained the world around him most frequently with gods and goddesses. When we study the Native Americans, we always hear about sun gods ext. ext. They weren't the most advanced civilization, and didn't have access to some of the equipment than let's say the Europeans, so this was their way of explaining how the word worked.

Additionally, he grappled with domestic issues such as civil rights and labor strikes, which further complicated his presidency.
Hitler was not as much against the world as he was for world domination. He envisioned his regime dominating the world for a thousand years.
