Tensioner should be removable and replaceable by single mounting bolt are you referring to the belt tensioner on engine?if so. remove tensioner,buy a new one, and replace. this is not a big job. you will also need to replace belt at same time
there is a problem with your cruise contol,have it checked. also have cam positioning sensor checked

It uses a spring loaded belt tensioner. The tensioner is autmatically set. IF there is not enough tension, then replace the tensioner. The belt may be stretched and need replacment however.
