It screws into the exhaust near the manifold. I haven't had to change mine on my intrigue, but if it's like others I've had to change, you get to it under the car behind the engine. Follow the exhaust from the catalytic converter up to the manifold, it should be the only sensor with a wire coming out of it that is screwed into the exhaust pipe. Unplug it from the wire harness, then unscrew it using a flat wrench. Have a new one ready to install, you can't run the car without it. Hope this helps.

The O2 sensor is located on the exhaust pipe on the drivers side a few feet past the engine. Make sure the exhaust pipes have had time to cool before crawling under the truck. Once under the truck look at the exhaust pipe coming from the engine and you will see the O2 sensor. Follow the O2 wires back to the modular connector and disconnect it. Now use a wrench to remove the O2 sensor. You may need some WD-40 or other penetrating oil to help in removing the sensor. After you remove the old sensor put some anti seize lube on the threads of the new one and connect it to the modular connector. It's a pretty simple procedure. On a 95 Suburban V8 you should only have the one O2 sensor.

The post catylitic convertor is quick and easy, sticks out like a sore thumb underneath the van about in the middle. Unplug the electrical connector then remove the sensor using an 02 socket. Make sure the new sensor has anti sieze compound on the threads, put it in and connect the sensor. (negative battery cable needs to be disconnected before doing this) The pre cat is a bit more difficult. You'll have to rotate the engine and remove the coil packs to get to that one, but rotating the engine isn't too difficult.

Where is an Oldsmobile intrigue 1999 ignition sensor?

Never heard of an "ignition sensor". Do you mean oxygen sensor, or maybe crank position sensor, or cam position sensor? There is an ignition "module" also... The oxygen sensor is on the exhaust manifold. The crank posiiton sensor is on the backside of the block. The cam position is on each head.
